Numerous showers and storms moved slowly eastward across western 

Kansas during the late night hours. Meanwhile rest of the state 

experienced mostly cloudy skies with predawn temperatures in the 

60s and light winds.



Showers and storms will diminish this morning over western and

central parts of Kansas. Surface high pressure will build 

southward across the central plains today with mostly cloudy skies

and cooler temperatures. Daytime highs will range from the cool 

upper 50s in northeast Nebraska to the mid 80s in central 

Oklahoma.



Tranquil weather conditions will be store for tonight as surface 

high pressure continues to build southward ushering cooler and drier 

air over the heartland. Overnight lows will range from the cool 40s 

in northern Nebraska to the middle 60s in central Oklahoma.
