Early morning readings ranged from the middle 40s over north central Kansas, to the low 50s over southeast Kansas. Unseasonably hot temperatures are expected across the Plains today as persistent upper level high pressure continues to build over the Southwest U.S. Highs today are expected to be in the 80s for all of Kansas, Oklahoma and Nebraska, with 70s forecast for Missouri. For tonight, not much is expected to change, with lows ranging from the 50s over eastern Oklahoma, to the 40s over most of Nebraska. $$
