Cool early morning temperatures were also in place, with readings generally in the low and mid 40s. Light rain will continue this morning across a good portion of Kansas. However, by the early afternoon hours, mainly western and parts of central Kansas will still have rain chances, with the remainder of the area staying dry. By the evening hours, only far southwest Kansas into the Oklahoma Panhandle will still have rain chances. Below normal temperatures are once again expected for today and tonight. Look for highs today to range from the 40s across western Kansas, to the 50s across Nebraska and eastern Kansas. Overnight lows are forecast to range from the 20s over far western Kansas, to the mid and upper 30s from eastern Kansas into Missouri. $$
