Scattered showers and storms affected portions of Nebraska and Kansas with minimal impacts. Overcast skies were observed in Nebraska with mostly sunny skies across the rest of the Central Plains. A cold front pushed south resulting in breezy northerly winds in Nebraska and western Kansas with light southerly winds across eastern Kansas and northern Oklahoma. Tonight low temperatures will drop into the 50s and 60s across much of the region with lows remaining in the 70s in southeast Kansas, western Missouri, and northern Oklahoma. Scattered showers and storms are possible in southern Nebraska and portions of Kansas with the rest of the area remaining mostly dry. For Wednesday, high temperatures will range from the lower 70s in Nebraska to the 90s in southern Kansas with areas near 100 in northern Oklahoma. Showers and storms are likely in southern Nebraska with scattered chances possible in eastern Kansas. Outside of rain chances, mostly sunny skies are expected with relatively light winds under 10 mph. $$
