It was a quiet day over the Central Plains as light winds and mostly 

cloudy skies prevailed. Most locations saw high temperatures creep 

into the 40s and 50s, with readings reaching the 60s in the Red 

River Valley and highs below freezing across eastern Nebraska.



Light rain turning into a few snowflakes will be possible tonight 

across portions of central Kansas into Oklahoma, while areas in 

Nebraska are expected to see light snow. Little to no accumulation 

is expected with activity occurring throughout the Sunflower 

State. Low temperatures across the region will dip into the 20s 

and low 30s amid mostly cloudy skies and light winds.



The light wintry mix is forecast to linger into the morning hours on 

Wednesday across central and south central Kansas with minimal 

impacts expected. High temperatures will reach into the 40s and 50s 

across the majority of Nebraska, Kansas, and Oklahoma. Breezy north 

winds are forecast across portions of Kansas and Oklahoma under 

mostly to partly cloudy skies.
