Aside from a thick upper level cloud deck, the weather was quiet

across the Plains with temperatures in the 40s, 50s, and even a

few 60s across southwest Kansas. A weak cold front continues to 

progress southward from Nebraska, although little in the way of

cold air is associated with this cold front. Cloud cover will

decrease from northwest to southeast overnight with temperatures

bottoming out in the 20s across the region. Cloud cover will be on

the increase once again for Tuesday as highs range from the upper

30s across northeast Kansas to near 60 across southwest Kansas.
