Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region

over the next several days.



The associated cold front attached to a clipper system moves

through early this morning. This will usher in a reinforcing shot

of cold air to the region along with blustery northwesterly winds.



Yet another fast moving frontal system passes south of the area 

midday Friday leading to another cold weekend ahead. This feature

brings renewed snow chances to the Alleghenies, while possibly

spilling over into locations to the east.



Another wave of low pressure may impact the area with more

widespread wintry precipitation chances Saturday into Sunday. 

Arctic high pressure moves in early next week leading to very cold

temperatures.
