A deep upper level trough will continue to bring cool and breezy 

conditions today, with periods of rain for western and northern 

Pennsylvania. A few showers could make it all the way to I-81 this

afternoon.



High temperatures today will only be in the mid 40s in the 

Laurels and northern mountains, but as warm as 60 degrees in 

Philadelphia. Frost and freeze conditions look likely again tonight

with some upper 20s sprinkled into the mountain valleys and low to

mid 30s elsewhere.



Drier and less breezy conditions are expected for the weekend as 

high pressure builds in, but the chilly air and cloudy skies 

stick around. The end of October looks unsettled with potential

for gusty winds, rain, and continued chilly conditions.
