The overnight hours will feature dry weather with mostly cloudy skies. Lows will range from the upper 20s in the northeast to the upper 30s in the southwest. A low pressure area will track across the Great Lakes on Friday and push a weak cold front through the state Friday afternoon and evening. A few showers are expected with the cold front, with the lightest amounts in the southeast. A few rumbles of thunder are possible across the western sections of the state as the front passes. Highs on Friday will be another 10 degrees warmer than today, running around 50 in the north to the lower 60s in the southern valleys. Lows Friday night will range from the 30s across the north, to the mid 40s across the south. Saturday looks dry with high temperatures similar to Friday. Temperatures on Sunday could end up a few degrees warmer than on Saturday, before turning colder on Monday. $$ Martin
